چکیده
3D printing is revolutionizing the manufacturing sector due to myriad of materials and techniques available. Furthermore, it allows decentralized production sites for both industry public. However, restricted static structures that cannot react external stimuli or adapt environment are, therefore, not suitable functional motile parts. Recently, two approaches are proposed give dynamism printed structures: “stimulus-responsive” (a.k.a. smart) “4D printing,” first implying features change a stimulus while second indicating time evolution properties after activation. Nanomaterials, particularly 2D nanomaterials, exhibit broad distinctive combination features. Thus, they highly effective at enabling this their morphological, optoelectrical, mechanical properties. This review summarizes recent advances in 3D/4D smart deformable stimuli-responsive which utilize nanomaterials. The benefits framework summarized, how translate potential into also discussed. most promising achievements date piezoresistive strain sensing, Joule heaters, actuators. Future advancements possible upcoming application areas finally proposed.

متن کاملDirect 4D printing via active composite materials
We describe an approach to print composite polymers in high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) architectures that can be rapidly transformed to a new permanent configuration directly by heating. The permanent shape of a component results from the programmed time evolution of the printed shape upon heating via the design of the architecture and process parameters of a composite consisting of a gl...
متن کاملSmart materials and structures.
A smart structure is a system containing multifunctional parts that can perform sensing, control, and actuation; it is a primitive analogue of a biological body. Smart materials are used to construct these smart structures, which can perform both sensing and actuation functions. The ‘‘I.Q.’’ of smart materials is measured in terms of their ‘‘responsiveness’’ to environmental stimuli and their ‘...
